Recently, the 2024 Legal Degree Graduate Legal Document Competition was successfully held in Xiamen University. The competition is sponsored by the Law School of Xiamen University, with the Law Education Research Association of China Law Society and the National Law Degree Graduate Education Steering Committee as the academic guidance units. The evaluation experts include senior experts and scholars from various universities as well as the business backbone of practical departments. A total of 211 law training units, 3,084 law degree students participated in the competition. Sun Chang, Yang Yujie, Qu Yujie, Wang Huashi, Wang Zhiqi, Xu Jiangyun, Sang Xin, Zhang Hanwen and other students of our school participated in the competition.

The competition takes legal documents as the carrier, and is divided into three stages: preliminary, semi-final and final. It adopts the combination of online and offline competition. After strict evaluation and fierce competition, nearly 3000 contestants were eliminated in the preliminary round, a total of 85 graduate students in the final; 55 contestants in the final, only 30 graduate students from the final into the final. With his solid legal skills and excellent performance, Sun Chang won the excellence award in the final.

Sun Chang made good achievements in this competition, which not only showed the style and level of our graduate students, but also showed the intuitive embodiment of the training quality of master of law training in our college. In recent years, the college attaches great importance to the important role of practical competitions in the training of high-quality legal talents, and constantly promotes undergraduates and graduate students to actively participate in various legal competitions at home and abroad to improve students' comprehensive practical ability. The Law School will further encourage our teachers and graduate students to actively participate in all kinds of competitions, and improve the quality and level of legal personnel training through promoting teaching and promotion through competition.
